Paralegal – Real Estate
Leeds / Hybrid
Competitive salary + excellent training + named client exposure
Haggerty Jaques is instructed by a well-known law firm in Leeds to recruit experienced paralegals into its busy and growing Commercial Property team. These are not entry-level positions - previous experience in real estate or conveyancing is essential.
The roles offer a rare chance to deepen your experience in a supportive, well-resourced team and to work with high-quality clients on meaningful matters.
Two roles available – tailored to your strengths
We are recruiting for two slightly different positions:
- Landlord & Tenant Management – working on a long-standing client account, handling lease renewals, licences and portfolio management.
- Post-Completion Support – ideal for those with strong attention to detail, this role focuses on registrations, SDLT, Land Registry work, and completion processes.
Both roles offer client exposure, responsibility, and a clear path for development.
What you’ll be doing:
- Drafting leases, licences, and Land Registry forms
- Liaising with clients and third parties
- Managing completions and post-completion tasks
- Supporting fee earners with a wide range of real estate matters
- Maintaining excellent compliance and client care standards
What we’re looking for:
- At least 12 months’ experience in a real estate or conveyancing team
- Confidence in managing your own workload and deadlines
- A keen interest in commercial property work
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- A proactive and collaborative attitude
Why apply?
- Work with well-known clients on real estate matters that make a difference
- Join a supportive and friendly team with a strong reputation
- Gain experience in a respected commercial property practice
- Benefit from hybrid working and a competitive salary
