Residential Property Lawyer | 5 PQE+
Bradford | Harrogate | Ilkley
Competitive Salary & Benefits
We’re working with a well-established Yorkshire law firm to recruit a senior Residential Property Lawyer into their busy and highly regarded conveyancing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced solicitor looking to combine quality work, strong client relationships, and a clear leadership role.
The Role
You’ll be entrusted with a broad caseload covering residential sales, purchases, and remortgages. This is a senior fee-earning role where you’ll not only progress your own client matters with efficiency and care but also play a pivotal part in the wider team’s development.
Day-to-day, you’ll supervise, mentor, and support junior lawyers and conveyancing staff, ensuring high standards are met across the department. You’ll also be encouraged to contribute to the firm’s longer-term growth strategy by identifying business opportunities, strengthening external relationships, and helping shape the ongoing evolution of the residential property team.
The Environment
This is a firm with a long history in Yorkshire and a reputation for being both approachable and ambitious. Their ethos is rooted in excellent client service and strong community links, while also embracing modern working practices and a progressive approach to business growth.
The role will be primarily office-based, particularly during the probation period, but once you’re established you’ll have the flexibility to work from home up to two days a week.
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to speak with qualified solicitors with at least five years’ experience in residential conveyancing. You’ll be confident handling transactions with minimal supervision and skilled in managing client expectations with professionalism and warmth. Strong leadership qualities, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to mentor junior colleagues are essential, as is a commercial approach to growing both your practice and the wider team.
What’s on Offer
Alongside a competitive salary, you’ll join a supportive firm that values its people and offers a genuine opportunity to make your mark. You can expect a stimulating workload, access to career development support, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to the future direction of a highly respected Yorkshire practice.
Why Apply?
This is the ideal next step if you’re ready to combine your conveyancing expertise with leadership responsibility. You’ll enjoy the balance of running your own matters, shaping the careers of junior team members, and contributing to the growth of a forward-looking, well-respected law firm.
