We are working with a highly regarded full-service law firm to recruit experienced lawyers to join its busy Construction & Engineering team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for specialist construction lawyers to progress their career in a leading firm with genuine long-term prospects and a supportive culture.

A varied and high-quality construction practice

The Construction & Engineering team has a wide-ranging practice spanning both contentious and non-contentious construction matters. The lawyers here advise on projects across the full spectrum of the industry - from traditional development work to large-scale energy and infrastructure projects.

You will gain exposure to a number of interesting and growing sectors, including:

  • Student accommodation
  • Private rental sector (PRS)
  • Major energy and infrastructure projects
  • Complex disputes (litigation, arbitration, adjudication, and enforcement)

Clients include listed companies, developers, banks, local authorities, educational institutions, contractors, specialist sub-contractors and consultants — both in the UK and internationally.

The opportunity

The firm is looking to recruit at two levels:

Director

A senior solicitor (10+ PQE) with extensive experience in transactional / non-contentious construction law. You should have a strong track record of managing matters independently, supervising others, and working collaboratively as part of a team.

Senior Associate

A construction law specialist (4+ PQE) with expertise in either contentious or non-contentious construction law — or ideally, a mix of both.
