Senior Planning Lawyer | 4 PQE+
Leeds or Manchester | Hybrid
Extremely Competitive Salary & Fantastic Benefits
Make your mark on some of the UK’s biggest projects
We’re working with a leading national planning practice that’s at the heart of the country’s most ambitious development and regeneration schemes. From purpose-built student accommodation and senior living to logistics hubs, data centres and major regeneration projects – their work genuinely shapes skylines.
This is your opportunity to step into a senior role where you’ll be trusted with high-profile clients, complex projects, and the chance to really influence outcomes.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be part of a large, connected team that thrives on collaboration. Day to day, you’ll provide strategic planning advice, guide clients through tricky acquisition and finance issues, and get stuck into everything from planning agreements to contentious appeals.
It’s a role with real variety, spanning both the advisory and contentious side of planning – and it comes with a genuinely national remit.
What they’re looking for
We’re keen to speak to planning lawyers with at least 4 years’ PQE who are ready to take on more responsibility. You’ll already have experience in development and regeneration matters and the confidence to lead client relationships. If you’ve also had a hand in mentoring juniors, even better.
Why this team?
Because they’re not just about ticking boxes. This is a group of lawyers who care about doing things properly – supporting each other, pushing boundaries, and delivering brilliant results for their clients. The work is exciting, the projects are high profile, and the culture is ambitious without being stuffy.
If you’re seeking the opportunity to progress your career within a highly regarded national planning team, while working on complex and high-profile projects, this position offers an excellent platform. We would be delighted to have a confidential discussion with you.
